Hegemony
Hegemony is a great word. I think my first significant exposure to the word came when reading Ender's Game . Now I use the word all the time. Favorite usage: "Blah blah Microsoft hegemony blah blah."

here is the question....
Compare and contrast the America(the head of the Hegemony) in the novel to America today. Describe three ways they are similar and three ways they are different.
Posible areas of comparision are:
#1what is Americas role in balance and power of the world?
#2what is America stance on pre-emptive strikes at this time?
#3How does the contry protect itself?
I have used #'s 1 and to as ways they are similar and as for ways they are differnet i have come up with one i dea and that is the idea of birth controll
I still need 2 more for difference and 1 more for similarities
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
